San Jacinto College offers support to students in a multitude of areas. No matter
what you’re going through, we’re here to help you succeed personally, financially,
and professionally. Foster care liaisons are available in each of these departments
to help you transition to college and apply for available benefits.

College For All Texans
Receive free tuition at state-supported colleges or universities, including San Jacinto

Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Tuition Exemption
This state law exempts or waives tuition and fees at state-supported colleges or universities
for current or former foster youth. Review qualification requirements and learn more.
Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program
This federally-funded program provides up to $5,000 a year to eligible foster youth
to pursue educational and vocational training programs. Learn more about the ETV program
